KARTING | Bezuidenhout Looking to Maintain Cape Momentum

Hold onto your seats as Mikel Bezuidenhout, a talented teenager from Johannesburg, gets set to make his mark in the South African Rotax MAX Challenge Championship at Cape Town's exciting Killarney Kart Track this weekend! With international racing experience in the OKN class already under his belt, Mikel's journey toward a bright motorsport career is in full swing.

Racing under the respected NBR Racing stable, Mikel embodies grit and determination despite being relatively new to the karting scene. His stint on the global stage and his unwavering perseverance put him in contention for podium honours on Saturday against 26 other competitors.

With the backing of sponsors MTN Cosmo-Net and Vivo Mobile South Africa, Mikel is driven by a burning desire for victory and is excited to take on the competition, as he explains:

"We were here at the start of the month and returned last weekend to compete on the main circuit for the first time. I'm back in the kart this weekend, and I hope to continue the good form I've had here in 2024. Undoubtedly, it will be tough with such a large and talented field of drivers. But you must beat the best to be the best, so let's see how the weekend unfolds.
